OWA 5.5 on Win 2000

Good afternoon,

I am in the process of Installing Exchange 5.5 OWA onto a Windows 2000 Server, but I am experiencing problems.

I receive a NT file error message, I assume that I need to apply a patch before I proceed, but can't locate any relevant documentation.

Our exchange 5.5 server is on a separate NT 6A machine.

did you apply service pack for win2k first
then after install Exchange 5.5, did you apply the service pack as well ?

The server installed came with Windows Service Pack 2. I do not want to install Exchange 5.5 fully, just the OWA element.

Unfortunately I wasn't able to install OWA.

i think OWA on 5.5 was built in the server itself, so i think it has to be on the same box that has IIS on it

since you are trying to install on a separated server, sorry i don't know how to go about it
i though you are trying to install a completely new 5.5 on win2k server

Exchange and IIS can be on separate servers, no problem. What's the error message you're getting?
