I have an Exchange 2007 CAS Server, with OWA. Internally it runs fine, always available. However, from the outside, it's available maybe 75% of the time. The other 25% users see the page trying to load, and after a few minutes, it times out. They can wait a few minutes or so, try again, and it's available.

I checked the Firewall, and it's allowing http/https. Nothing in the logs on either the FW or Exchange. Is there anything I can tweak? Anyone else experience this?

Thanks...

It's not likely a firewall issue if it sometimes works. I'd say it's more likely a bandwidth issue. You could look at the IIS log files and event logs to see if anything is popping up.

Plan for performance, and capacity takes care of itself. Plan for capacity, and suffer poor performance.

We have a 3MB pipe to the Internet. I can't believe we need more in order for this to work properly? Seems excessive...

What am I looking for? I didn't see much...
