I am running Exchange 2007 64-bit on Windows server 2003.
Client Access (OWA) was originally installed on this machine.

I now want to install OWA on a 32-bit machine in my DMZ, (web server).

Q1) I can't find Client Access install for 32-bit machines. My 64-bit install would not run on my 32-bit web server, (duh). I can't find the software online or in my MS licensing portal. Do I have to buy a 32-bit license for a stand alone Client Access server?

There is no 32 bit version of Exchange 2007 except as a beta / test environment version.

Install 64 bit Windows and use the 64 bit IIS is your only option if you don't want to port the OWA requests through to your Exchange server.

On your licensing question, yes, if you want to run CAS role on a separate server, that would require an additional server license. You may be able to find someone who still has a copy of the 32-bit trial, but using it wouldn't be a license-compliant activity.

OWA in a dmz is no supported by microsoft, and by the few articles i have read on people trying it has ended in disaster.

Just put a isa box in the dmz and problem is solved.

Or use your existing firewall to route port 443 to the Exchange server.
