I have been trying to launch a web browser through NNM and have been getting a network error. It says it can't find the server. I have populated /etec/opt/OV/share/conf/ovweb.conf with the browser, server and port information. Still cant get it to work. Ultimately I would like to get the HP VP Java console to be able to bring up a NNM map through the jovw function. Anybody? Gary Andreas

Have had a similar problem before, almost typically a proxy problem, disable all proxy, ensure there is lookup for localhost, and machines hostname in the /etc/hosts file. If this resolves, then enable proxy disabling the obvious.
You should have no issues firing up a map with jovw.

Cheers
Adam
