OVL428 on anything but default password

Hi, I try changing from the default password on an Opt11c. Rls.4.5
But when I try logi, I only get OVL428. Both on admin1 and admin2.
If I change only admin2 password and leave admin1 default,
I get OVL428 on the admin2 pwd, but I can logi with admin1.
Funny thing is it rejects the pwd at logi promt,
but if I logi with admin1, and default pwd, and then go to
LD 22 to PRT, TYPE PWD, it asks for the PWD2 password,
and here the new password works, but not at logi....
Have tried reseting both passwords and accounts in PDT.
Any suggestions???

No idea but try capital or lowercase for the admin1 and admin2 names.

the main thing is that post

Opt11c.

if it was an 81 i would call nortel, with an 11 i would ini. i usually make a param change, bump a buffer up prior to that ini to get that portion of protected to fail checksum and reload..

We tried an INI at this switch once, (this issue has
been on it for a while...) The result of the INI was that
all accounts were locked out, level1, level2 and PDT-accounts.
Had to wipe and reload SSC to get back into it again.
No,don't wan't to try that again.:-(
