Overset text in CS3 1

Does anyone know how to override the overset text in CS3? There seems to be something defaulted to set all text to overset and I ca'n't seem to fix it. This happens with every piece of text placed - especially when I put a hard return in. No ammount of kerning/tracking adjustment eleviates this problem, it is very frustrating.

Check your Keep Options

Either highlight with text tool all the text or select all frames with black select tool to be sure "No Break" innot applied.

You may want to be sure "No Break" is not set as a default either via Preferences.
