Override system variables

New to XE2. Accepted default installation paths and now want to reconsider.

Proposed strategy is to COPY files from selected old paths to new paths, then, under Options, override selected system variables, and finally, delete files in old paths

Will this work? any suggestions welcome.

Not familiar with XE2. Also not entirely sure if you're talking about the IDE itself, or just your project files.

My first try would be to uninstall XE2, and then reinstall with your preferred install options.
