We have a view, which has been created with a STAR JOIN hint, which optimizes most of our queries. For some other queries however, we would like the optimizer to do a HASH JOIN since it makes a huge difference in the performance. Is there any way I can override the star hinton the view and force the optimizer to do a hash join?
