I have 3 class objects that use the same functions (eg save load update etc..) these classes will be identical but the functionality will be slightly different depending on the database being used. Ideally I want to be able to set something in the web config file to use just one of the 3 classes without making any coding change so I can easily swap between the different types of database. Should I be using override methods for this?

You may have some luck posting this question in forum678. I'm sure a Design Pattern would provide an elegant solution to this problem but I don't know them well enough yet.
