Hi folks,

guys, do you know how can I override calls on Hipath 3800 ?

I found service code *62 can do that, but when I dial it I get a busy tone....I checked pbx restrictions and we didn´t block prefix with * and #...

please help, an annoying user asked me for this feature and he is driving me crazy...he´s a call center supervisor.

At you're phone flags set the flag: Override class of service on.

(station -> station view -> "select the staion" -> tab: flag status)

Hi Silver,

yeah I checked the override flag...

I´m configusing, I researched on Internet and read that phone tapping is the feature that enable hearing call function from another DN, so what is override ? are they not the same ?

Otherwise look at Executive Override - I think that's the feature that allows you to barge in on another line with a call in progress.

Hi !

I was looking for Executive Override tap on the Hipath manager 3000 but can´t find it.

Also I checked the Silent Monitoring flag, but I still get the busy tone, also I get the message Access denied on the phone.

Hi, me again !!!

Finally I found how to override a call.

You can do it with *62 or *944. Using *62, first you have to dial a DN with a call in course, then dial *62 and you get into the call.

Using *944, just dial *944 and then the DN you wish to hear.

The bad news are that the supervisor could override on all calls, including those out of the call center. This could be a problem with DNs in other groups.
