I got a Nexxtech 1000va 600w ups recently. I've got my gaming rig and 19inch flat panel monitor hooked up to it. Nothing else is hooked in, no printer, no speakers, just the box and the monitor.

For some reason this is overloading the ups while doing moderate tasks (while in idle the ups load hangs around 100% but doesnt overload). Theres no way my computer is pulling more than 600w because its PS rated for 460w and its pulling half that or the fan would be ramping up.

The weird part is when i put the ups into battery mode the load drops to around 40% which is where i would expect it to be. When i plug it back in, all the way back up to 100% load again.

So is there a way to fix this? Or is this just a PoS UPS that nexxtech makes.
