Overlay 2 PDF's Page by Page

Hi,
I would like to overlay 2 pdf’s page by page.
Document A page 1 will merge with Document B page 1
Document A page 2 will merge with Document B page 2

Using the background feature I am able to do it page by page, (setting the range) so that page one will be the background for range 1 to 1.
This is however very time consuming for a long document.
Any ideas or knowledge of programs?

How fortuitous! I was about to post a question on how to overlay two documents! Could you tell me how you accomplish this?

(Sorry didn't mean to hi-jack your thread, but I searched but the only question I found wasn't answered! thanks! leslie)
