Overlapping IFRAMEs & DIVs ---> Weird problem

Hello, [soapbox]

I am developping a site, containing menus that use DIV
elements to dynamically appear and disappear.
My problem is that on one page, I have to put an IFRAME,
but whenever a menu's DIV element overlapps (even just a
bit) my IFRAME the IFRAME disappears.

I have tried [morning] to place my IFRAME in a DIV and set
z-index the highest I could, but nothing, does it, my
IFRAME disappears. I have also tried to put an image in the
same DIV as my IFRAME, and in case of overlapping DIV over IFRAME, IFRAME disappears .... [yawn]

If anyone has a clue on how to solve this ( [party] ), thanks
