Does anyone know where I can find a class on overhead paging? Valcom doesn't have any scheduled. I would like to get some people certified. Thanks.

Do you really need training on a paging system? I would think that even a bad tech would be able to install and service a paging system as long as they had the manual.

I would recommend the valcom classes when you get a chance .

you can email valcom with your needs and they will design a system for you and like phoneguy55 says , almost anybody can install from there

We are looking to get techs certified. I guess the paper means something to some people.

if you want certs then go to the manufacturers site , I did valcom one several years ago (even got a spiffy hat )

call them and see what they have going ,

Also, you might check out Atlas Sound @ AtlasSound.com and Bogen @ ... both companies have reference info and other technical documents for the download. I don't know if they have any classes available.

There are sections in the NEC that are applicable to paging systems and audio distribution. These are important things to know so you can do the job right!

Hope this helps!
