I have a new set up with 1 BCM400 (main system) all the DIDs will come in through this system and route out to 3 BCM50s tied together via VoIP trunks. Each BCM (400 and 50s) will have 4 outgoing lines. I would like the BCM400 to be able to use the outgoing lines off of the BCM50s if all 4 of its lines are in use, but I am not sure how to achieve this. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
Thanks!!

I just want to send calls out the 50s when all of the 400 are busy and vice versa. Sounds like I should research Routing Service Schedules - I have never used them before! I love BCMs, but this kind of stuff is so much easier for me in a PBX!!

Yes.
Do a little reading on "Scheduled Services".
You'll use one of the schedules.
I suggest enabling "overflow" on the schedule.
Point your Des code to the schedule first, if all of those trunks are unavailable, it will "overflow" to the "Normal" schedule. When you use overflow, opposed to multiple routes in the schedule, the users receive a warning tone and display the reads "expensive" route ... which it probably will be unless the 50 is down the street.
