Hi all,

Just have a question about putting overflow onto a GS link, I believe it can be put in place like on a route but how?
The reason I ask is we had our 2MB link GS co-axial cable cut in 2 so the LIM connected in a different location became isolated resulting in a loss of desk to desk etc..
I trying to think of resislence the fact that we have one of our ACD grps split in 2 with members at this site meant an impact on the grp.
We are on BC13

Thanks

Mack

You must have a groupswitch link between sites with BC13. You can have more than one which will provide some resilience. In addition you can use some external hardware to make a link take a different route. So for example you could have 1 link going direct over co-ax cable and another using HL950 (TDM to IP convertors) over your data network. This will give you some resilience for both scenarios.
