I have two hunt groups set up: One is a main group that is a collective ring to 3 people. If they don't answer, the main group overflows to a backup collective group with 10 people. Incoming calls to the main number are directed to the main group. When a call comes in, phones in the main group ring and show "Incoming: xxxxxxxxxx" on the top line and "callername>>Main" on the second line (we have 9608s). When the call overflows, it rings on the overflow group phones as "Incoming: xxxxxxxxxx" on the top line and "External>>Main" on the second line, and not the caller name. If you answer the call, it then replaces the "External>>Main" with the caller's name. It is not a new problem, but becoming more annoying for some as they don't want to answer sales calls. Direct inward calls to extensions also show the caller name correctly.
This is on a IP500v2 9.1.1.0 build 10 in the USA.
Tried changing System, Telephony, Visually differentiate external call; made no difference.
No_User source numbers have: LONGER_NAMES, HIDE_CALL_STATE, EXTENDLDAPDIRECTLIMIT, WAN_MODE_OVERRIDE=0
System directory has no entries.
Line is a PRI24.
Is there a way to get the caller name to show up when the overflow group is ringing? If not, maybe there is a better way to have incoming calls ring to a small set of users first, then to a larger set after 10 seconds?
