I have made some visual changes to cast members, but I have not changed anything in the behavior or tempos, I saved and compacted the movie, but for some reason when my text is to slide out from left to right in a nav style, it is MUCH slower [sadeyes]...why is this? I looked at the individual cast tempo and it displays the same...but running the .exe this time after the changes, the movie is S-L-O-W [hammer]

You said you made some visuals changes to cast members. Did you actually change the cast members or was it something on the sprite level? Did you scale down a graphic file in the Score? That is one sure way of slowing down a director movie. If you have not tried it already, try making the changes back to the way it was before you noticed the slowing down. See if you can identify an actual cause by testing these changes.

All I did was changes the text in the graphic...I didn't scale it down or anything like that...lets just say I put a new coat of paint on the house...

How about this move the sprite down to a different channel. Does it still move slowly? Or replace the text graphic cast member with another one, use ctrl-e or cmd-e to exchange the cast member of the sprite to a different one. See if it is still too slow. Or altogether recreate the same tween with a different cast member. try to isolate the cause to the graphic or sprite.
I know you said you checked to make sure the tempo was fine. But I have noticed that when I go and change the tempo in the tempo channel from 30 fps to something lower like 8 fps. And then delete the sprite for the tempo change, that tempo still remains throughout the movie where I do not change an actual sprite set in the tempo channel. I simply go in and change it to 30 fps again. Thereby making an actual sprite for the tempo channel.

Thanks for your help! Ever since I've started this little project that I'm working on updating another movie, I feel like this [hammer]....I will try what you have suggested...I appreciate your help!
