Over the weekend, we had a sever to crash. It contained our ARC-Serve 6.61 backup SW and Exchange 5.5 database on a NT box.

I reinstalled Exchange on another NT server and recreated the mailboxes for our users. On a second NT machine I installed ARC-Serve. On a third NT machine I installed Exchange(gave same name as crashed machine).

The problem is now I am trying to restore.

1. I scanned and merged the data.
2. Time for restore---- Keep receiving an unrecoverable
data error.

Someone please tell me what I am doing wrong. Thank you in advance.

Did you also move the same backup device to the new server?
What about the SCSI card / cables?

From your description it seems that you are having some hardware problems with your new ARCserver server.
