Hey all. I have over 80 switches in my network and my Visio Diagram is as complicated to read as my network, therefore, it does work for management. What type of organization/examples have you guys done to illustrate a switched network in a good, neat, organized manner?

Hi Antelope,
what you could do is segment your switches into different Subnets of regions and put each division into a different layer ( a layer groups a number of devices together so that if you highlight one group on a diagram the others will disappear and you have a clear overview of the highlighted section ). Or you could put each division into a different page within your file. So say you have an overview page, you could double click on an icon for one subnet and Visio will jump to the appropriate page showing the desired division/ subnet.
Hope this helps
