Anyone been successful in running this script on a Solaris box ?
I get a failure in a "getopts" routine. This is being produced by a script call nnm_checkpoint.ovpl out of the operational sub dir. I'd like to finally begin to back up my system since recovery from a heavy crash is getting more and more brutal. Any advise is highly appreciated.

what is the failure? Mike

ANY help greatly appreciated. Is this supported by
HP, i.e. is it a ticketable item ?

Yes, they answered a question on ovbackup.ovpl for me a while ago anyway.

I don't have an OVO server running at the moment so I can't check -- but it looks as if it's failing because you haven't specified some command line argument. Have you checked the documentation? Mike

this is a pretty common problem that we had a while back, if I remember correctly an HP tech sent us some new checkpoint scripts to place in the ovbackup folder that resolved the issue
