Outtlook 2007 & Exchange 2003 & VPN = DISCONNECTED

I have from couple of days the annoying issue with clients that have Outlook 2007, they are in Disconnected state for couple of days. I try a lot of things but no result, I search a lot of internet forums, but no result.
There is somebody whit this issue and a resolve?

test ping the server.
Check GC server is up.
Check DNS is working e.g \\serverName
Have you ipconfig /all to check that DNS is correct.
Try opening Outlook /rpcdiag
Check mailbox is not full.

All check, everything it's ok.
Somebody tell my to try with MTU size.
I will try to see how it's working.
