I know an extension can get forwarded outside of the system.

What if a call comes into a calling group, on one answers and you want it to forward to an outside number.

If the call goes to a group, can you place a forwarding button on one of the extensions to send it to an outside number. (I really don't think this would work, just have to ask)

Thinking out loud here.....

What if you overflow the group to another group.
That other group is a bunch of S/L extensions looped to CO ports.
The group is linear.
Those CO ports are assigned to an adjunct, and the adjunct is made the Principal User.
Give that adjunct Remote Call Forward, and an Authorization Code, then RCF the adjunct.

It seems that calls would overlow, the S/L extension would ring into a CO port to an extension that owns the CO line and would follow the forward.

Might have issues with the number of calls that could overflow, and perhaps volume issues with the station to co to another co on the trunk to trunk.
