I have a distribution group that requires all senders to be authenticated (groupA). Now, users want an outside mailing list to be able to be send to groupA. I've unsuccessfully tried:

* Using a transport rule to forward
* An unauthenticated dist group with groupA as a member
* Made a contact for the mailing list and put that in the Accept Messages from list of groupA

How can I allow all only 1 unauthenticated user or somehow permit this mailing list?

Thanks in advance.

You first have to clear the option that allow only Authenticated Users send to a Distribution Group. After that you create (if you don't have one) a distribution group that includes all users inside organization. Third step is to create another Distribution Group that contains external contacts to send mail to your groupA. The last step is to Allow these two groups (group with all your internal users, and one with external contacts) to send email to groupA.

I hope it helps
