Outside calls for extension go to different extension

If a caller dials extension 4206 they go to our Data Processing phone. If I dial it internally it goes to the correct person. If i remove the extension from PBX. I can no longer dial that extension internally but can get it to go to Data Processing externally. I have even done a LUDN and it lists 4206 as available. How can this be? This is on an Option61c.

look at the idc table.. or a trunk that is atdn.. ld 49 prt idc will usually be the problem

then just return through.. that is used to change a target, if the number is in the ludn table,it can still be in the idc table

I did try that, sticks at cust. I entered 0, same thing.

that means that you have no IDC tables, I'd bet that it auto terminates, or the co is forwarding it possibly

Ok, i figured thats what it meant. How do i check to see if its auto terminating?

prt your trunks, if it shows AUTO YES, then it is auto terminated!

Ok, heres where im at. I printed the trunk and its an analog trunk that has a ATDN of 4206. 4206 was a DN setup to foward to another DN that was for a fax machine. But i dont understand when i call in and enter 4206 at the prompt i get forwarded to 2246 which is a digital phone. Is there a place im missing to look?

no, you need to print each DN and somewhere I'd bet you'll find a FWD or DCFW.... Post the dn's in question, then we can look, also post a trunk

There shouldn't be any prompt if your calling the Auto Term Trunk, are you sure your calling the Auto Term trunk number?

Or you may have your systen setup to goto to an Auto Att if you dial a number that is not in the system and thats where your getting the Prompt from.

Im not sure what the number that trunk is on. Im assuming theres a way i can look this up? If so how? Im saying im not sure why the 4206 is going to 2246 cause no where on the trunks do i see another 4206 as a ATDN. Im assuming since that trunk is analog that its a fax line. The main number that I was calling on and getting redirected to 2246 is our main number.
