Hey guys!
I am almost done with this automation and hit a snag. I had the public routine in a module, but reading found that I couldn't call the routine from a command line for task scheduling (please advise if I am wrong). The only way I can find to call this, is to create a function and call the function from a macro, and then the macro from the command line - this all seems so crazy - but the macro works and the command line is ALMOST working.. here's the dilemma..
I am basically automating a report so we can schedule it - and when I launch the macro from within Access - it works wonderfully. When I launch it from the command line - I get the "Command OutputTo is not available now". has anyone seen this or do you have any ideas why it would work inside Access, but not when I call the macro from outside?
Also - if you know of a command line switch to just call the routine, or even the function thats cool too..
Help please!
Thank you!
Tina
