Hi

I need to set up a script where the caller keys in some digits in response to an IVR and then output the collected digits to a 3rd party application such as Excel or Access. I don't have any trouble with the scripting part, but how do I get the collected digits to go to, for example, Excel?

Any help appreciated

You would use a host data exchange server (HDX). There would be some development around this to integrate to your database. Not sure if Excel counts as a database in this instance.

Another option would be to ask your network provider to host the service. We have a similar solution that verifies users against a list of ca. 6000 valid users using a PIN prompt.

We receive the MI from this on a daily basis as required. It also means you don't have to support, maintain, patch, virus protect and find space for the HDX hardware or spend time developing the system.
