This is simple I have a report that is exported with the docmd.output method but when opened with ADOBE Reader it throws a protected mode warning.
My quick initial search did not turn up anything. I usually do not see this as most of the machines I have access to have Adobe Pro.
I just don't know enough about Adobe to play with things until I figure out the root cause in the document and then what causes it.
Unfortunately, I can't share the problem PDFs.
Hoping for insight or someone else that has gone down the rabbit hole and determined it is a lost cause. Ideally I would like to be able to fix files via adobe automation so others will not get the message. It is obnoxious as generally I open 10 proof documents at a time so being prompted is not ideal. I think there is also a way to turn off the checking in Reader which may be the only practical workaround but not ideal to bypass new built in security features..
