Output to Excel is Printing Extra Pages (Report has 2 colns and 3 rcds

Hi All,

I have Cognos 7 on my home PC and and after creating a simple list report that has just two columns (Country and Product) with three records

1. When I save it as Save as "Excel with Format" and check the print preview in excel; it is showing me 4 pages though the report has just three records

2. Also if the report has more than 20 records the border around worksheet in Excel missed the border line from bottom

Any help in this regard shall be highly appreciated.

The Exporting to Excel functionality has changed between versions of series 7 - which one are you using? Whilst the rendering is not perfect, each successive version has improvements.

If you go to menu item 'Report', do you have an 'Excel' option listed? If so, have you tried changing some of the settings.
