I'm trying to get Output Designer working on a Windows 2000 server and HP-UX UNIX. The install and setup have closely followed the reference material and on the surface all looks OK.
The printer on UNIX is a copy of another Output Designer printer operating in another Ellipse environment, which is known to work.
The problem I have when running a report from Ellipse is the output doesn't leave the UNIX queue.
$ lpstat ghaahs011
ghaahs011-3138 ghadev priority 0 Sep 22 07:23 on ghaahs011
(standard input) 13147 bytes
printer queue for ghaahs011
Windows 2000 LPD Server
Error: specified printer does not exist
pd0nm003: waiting for queue to be enabled on ghaahs011
Output Designer is running on server ghaahs011 with printer ghaahs011 defined as a local printer. The diagnostic tool with Output Designer returns no errors.
The printer is defined in /etc/hosts
I can telnet to the printer.
Can anyone offer any suggestions.
