Hi,
I wonder if anyone can help me, we have a VB application which uses an Access 97 database to produce PDF files. When we run Acrobat 3.1, we can use the __pdf.ini to specify what the files should be called and where the files should be written. This allows us to automatically produce uniquely named PDF files in a directory of our choice.
My problem is that when we upgrade Adobe Acrobat to version 5, the above production of reports does not work. The user gets prompted. Does version 5 use a different ini file? Do I need to set some other setting to allow the above use of __pdf.ini?
I can get round the problem by setting the Acrobat version 5 output port to the required directory and then using VB code to rename the files to the unique name required.
Anyone have any ideas......
Thanks in advance,
Belinda
