Outloook 2003

I have a user who is running outlook 2003 in cached mode. I am running Exchange 2003. This user seems to have to hit send\receive to get his mail. Is there a setting to increase the decrease the amount of time it takes Outlook to look for new messages?

You might want to check the options under Tools / Options / Mail Setup / Send Receive. Ensure that "Schedule an automatic Send/Receive every x minutes" is selected. You can change the minutes setting to change how often outlook will check for messages when online. The section for offline checks is below this.
