Hi All,

A couple of our WindowsXP/Office2007 users have a weird issue when opening Outlook2007. When opening outlook the user gets prompted with a user credential screen asking to connect to mail.xxxxxx.org. If the user enters their password or just simply clicks cancel they are ok. The authentication screen does not come up again and they can send/receive emails just fine. If they exit the outlook program and go back in they get the user credential screen again. Here is what I have tried:
(1) Renamed windows profile and logged on as a new user (still same issue)
(2) If I log on as this same user on another workstation, they have no issues. This appears to be related to just their computer
(3) If I log on as a different user on the problem computer I have no issues. It appears to be a problem related to only their user account on their computer.
(4) I downloaded and installed all the latest windows updates and office updates.
* I've seaarched the registry and verified their outlook profile settings in outlook2007 are correct.

* This problem started happening after we went from Exchange2003 to Exchange2007

Any ideas?

Thanks

Does the user log on using a local account on the problem computer or do they log on using a domain acount? If they log on using a local account have they changed that password lately? It could be that the passwords are out of sync.

Hope this helps.

She logs on using a domain account (Windows2003 AD Account)
