Hi,

We have about 150 Office2007 users in our environment. One of our users is having a strange issue. When opening a new mail message, and attempting to browse a network shared folder location to attach a word document or excel document, outlook will freeze, then unfreeze after a few minutes. Each time you drill down into the folder/subfolder list, the same thing happens, outlook will hesitate or freeze. Eventually outlook will either stop responding, or will eventually get to the document that needs to be attached. When successful, this whole process can take up to about 3 - 5 minutes. This appears to only happen when browsing for a file to attach from within the new mail message. If I get to the document outside of outlook, by exploring the network folder from windows explorer, and then opening the document and sending the document to email, then the file attaches without any hesitation or lag.I've ruled out any windows corruption by wiping the system clean and reinstalling the OS. I've run hardware diagnostics and all tests ran clean. I've tried disabling the wireless card (to connect only via the LAN card), and disabling the LAN card (and connecting just by wireless)with the same results. The system in question is a Dell Latitude D410 laptop with Windows XP/SP3 and Office2007 SP2. I've also tried this registry fix: I'm at a loss. Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
