Anyone help me on this issue -cannot understand what caused this problem...
Running internal network
Windows 2003 Server - active directory etc
External Network
Windows 2003 Exchange Server
Using firewall stack to connect to Exchange Server 2003
Internal Network - All outlook user, 60 plus, were continuely updating folders / resyncing with Exchange 2003 hence overflow of traffic to the stack - used up all bandwith - therefore incoming and outgoing emails came to a standstill - this continued all day
Has anyone ever experienced this problem? or knows what could be the cause of this problem
All Outlook setting were set to cache mode?
No group polices or changes had taken place at the time
Any help would be appreciated?
Have checked logs/event logs cannot see anything that would have caused this.
Problem was resolved by only allowing one user to log on to Outlook at a each time??
Thanks in advance
Di
