Hi!
Windows NT network, Exchange 5.5, Outlook 2000, XP Pro SP2.
THe user has been working along just fine for years. Suddenly about two weeks ago, her email started arriving in the outbox. When she clicks on the outbox in the folder list, the message moves to the inbox.

For example:
Message arrives, Outbox highlights with (1) next to it.
User clicks on Outbox, it is empty.
Inbox highlights with (1) next to it.
User clicks on inbox, message is there.

There is only one rule set up on the PC, and that is for spam to go to the Deleted Items folder.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Corie

tahoe2,
have you done a detect & repair? any patches recently?
regards,
longhair

No diagnostics yet. This is the accounting/payroll PC, so it's kept pretty busy. I will be able to get on it tomorrow morning.

Oh, and SP2 was installed recently, the mail problem started a week or so after that...

Thanks,
Corie
