Are you connected to an exchange server?
If so then the mail on the server will be backed up by the server manager in th enormal backups.
If not then you need to find your outlook.ost file and make a copy of it.
usually founf in "C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook"
As for the personal folders just copy the file somewhere safe.

The mails are on the server but due to lack of space on the server,personal folders have been created.The important emails for a user on the server are then moved to personal folder on the individuals computers.So how i backup the personal folder?
