I'm running Outlook XP and I'd like to set all of my folders to archive anything older than six months.
Most of my folders are marked "Do not archive items in this folder." I tried changing the Default Archive Settings, then clicked "Apply these settings to all folders now." It appears not to turn on archiving for my
other folders. Do I have to change them one at a time?

This has also happened to me on various occassions. Your best bet it to make sure that the user is the owner of all of his folders. Then try to "Apply to all", this has worked in most cases, but not all. This is just another Gates annoyance that we have to live with!

Has anyone found a way around this yet. I have to roll out auto archiving of 1 month back with the delete option, and I am not to excited about changing settings on hundreds of individual folders. Any help with this is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Zilla

Sorry to edit the above post, you still have to go to each folder individually and make the user a owner of the folder to possible get this to work. I just tested it and it worked on my PC, but not the lady's across the way from me. I am really not sure what to tell you. Anyones input would be much appreciated on this!
