Ordinarily, choosing File>Open>OtherUser's Folder default's to trying to open the same folder for the other person that you are currently in when you choose the command.

Does anyone know of a way to make Outlook default to trying to open the other user's Calendar, no matter what folder is open when the command is invoked?

I haven't lost my mind - I know it's backed up on tape somewhere ....

Have you tried selecting properties under Outlook, then select your profile and under the advanced tab add the user to open these additional mailboxes, and that way you will be able to view their calendar every time you log into Outlook?

I think that is just hard coded into the program and not a changeable option. joegz

I have been told it was hard coded. I was hoping someone knew of a hack. I can't simply open them all at startup since I am talking of a GAL with over 6000 names and I just want to look at various calendars randomly. (like checking to see if someone is free before calling them, etc.)

The calendar is the only "other users folder" I ever want to look at and I just wanted to eliminate of mouse clicks. Oh well.... Thanks anyway.
