We are using POP mail for our office. I have set up backups for Outlook 2000 users and Outlook 98 users. These backups copy Outlook.pst from their workstation to the server.

I have one Outlook XP user, and I cannot find the Outlook.pst file on her C drive. Has Microsoft renamed it? The main thing we want to backup is calendar, email, and contacts. Where is that info stored in Outlook XP?

Thanks for any help you can give.

Outlook.pst is the default name but the user could have easily called it something else. The file is typically stored under "doments and settings" under their profile name. Though the client could have easily changed this as well.

Easiest way to find out is to click on FILE and DATA FILE MANAGEMENT and you can see where the pst files is setup and what it is labeled. joegz
