Here's the scenario:
A user places a shortcut to a frequently used network folder on his desktop. He's composing a new message in Outlook 2002 and wants to attach a file that is within the aformentioned folder. When he browses to the folder on his desktop however he receives an error message indicating "only files or objects can be attahments. (foldername) is a folder and cannot be attached." Now the strange thing here is that I went to another user's workstation, created the same shortcut to the same network share on her desktop and when she selected the folder she was able to browse it's contents and select the desired file to attach.
Any thoughts on what might be the problem here?
