Is it possible to change how attachments appear to the user at first glance.

Its kind of hard to explain but supposing I recieve an email with 12 excel files attached, in outlook 2000 they used to just show up as icons in the BODY of the email but in outlook XP they sometimes show up in the message header, right under to the From: CC: and SUBJECT: fields.

This makes it hard to view the names of the files clearly and their order. Is it possible to blow that field away from the email message box that opens up when you open an email? In other words is it possible to have the attached excell files appear as largeer icons within the body of the email itself?

This is related to the format in which the message was sent to you. If the message were sent to you in RTF, the attachments will appear inline in the body. If the message were sent in HTML or plain text, the attachemts are true attachments as you're seeing.
