Outlook won't remember password

Hi

I use Outlook express as my default email account and have my hotmail account linked to it. The problem I have is that the computer wont store my hotmail password despite the fact that I have ticked the 'remember password' box. Any ideas???

This appears to be a well known bug on Outlook Express - had the same problem myself last week

It seems to be a problem with the registry. For more information on how to fix it click on the following link

Of course, it goes without saying that you should back up your registry just in case.
