do? We have a small computer lab with Group Wise installed on it, sorry, I don't know what version. It is rarely used but has some great training tools loaded on it. After a class on operating systems last week, Outlook will no longer load. It pops an error message saying that service gwmsp1.dll could not be started.

Since it is rarely used, and never for Outlook, noone cares so I have to figure this out myself if I want to be able to continue to use it.

Where do I look for that DLL and how do I start/restart the service in Windows98?

Thanks for any help and/or suggestions you can give me!

PS. If version specific information is needed, I can track it down for someone.

Have a great day!

Have you solved this problem yet. I have the same problem and would be interested in knowing how to solve it.

GroupWise and Outlook do not play well together on the same workstation. Unless you have loaded the bridge program for them. Usually what happens is that the last one that is loaded on a PC will try to become the dominant e-mail client. My suggestion would be to clean the GroupWise client off the PC and then reinstall the GroupWise client. This takes all of 5 minutes, assuming you have the cleaning tool and access to the GroupWise client install. Re-installing the client generally will take care of these type problems (I have never seen when it did not work). Your system Administrator should be able to assist you with this, and have all the necessary cleaning and installation disks.
