Hello all. One of my end users is running Outlook 2003. She receives a daily .xls file entitled "sample 1 .xls". As you can see, there are spaces within the file name. The file is also blasted to other users at the same time (they have no problems). I asked her to forward me the file on my machine and it opens up perfectly fine. I also noticed that on her machine, Outlook does not show the file name next to the word "attachments". It seems grayed out or invisible. However, if you click on the attachments text, you will be prompted to open or save the file. If you try to perform either action, your prompted with the following error:
"Outlook could not save the file".

I proceeded to run office repair and clean out all temp files. Still having the same issue.

I appreciate any of your input and support.

Joe

If you forward the e-mail back, can she save it?

Does it happen the next day?

If she can open the forward and it doesn't happen the next day, I'd file it under "some things are easier to fix than explain". Otherwise, search for that error, first thing that popped up for me was something about the outlook temp folder being full and editing the registry to fix it.

If the email is sent to me and then I send it back, she can open it. hmmm...
