I have a problem with a few of my workstations that occasionally attempt to read an empty floppy drive. This occurs only on some of our computers when Outlook 97 is open. It occurs sporadically, almost as if Outlook is trying perform something involving the floppy drive on a timed schedule (like an archive of data or something). I have already disabled the automatic archiving feature, but the problems continue.
Each mail client is configured for sending/receiving mail on an internet e-mail account and a Microsoft Mail Post Office account located on a shared directory on the network. Nothing really fancy.
Any other ideas on why this is happening.
Thanks in advance.
