Outlook today problem

I have Outlook XP set-up to display the "outlook today" view on startup for all our users here. On one computer if the user selects another folder such as "inbox" or "calendar" Outlook will automatically return to "outlook today". The amount of time varies from almost immediate to about 15 seconds or so.

I can't find anything different about this PC. I scanned it for viruses.

Any ideas? Thanks in Advance.

Perhaps the shortcut for Outlook on that machine is set to show Today. If that were the case, then you would get the results you mention in you message. The variable time before it changes could be due to the processes running at that moment and/or if Outlook started searching for new email before the screen switched. Just a thought...
