I have a user with a laptop that is often out of the office. When we set up Outlook and it asked "Do you travel with this computer?" we checked Yes. Since we have done this he has complained that numerous people have been unable to open the attachments he sends. Some of the recipients are within the company and use OWA to check the email. When they click on an attachment from the laptop user a screen appears and reads "Page cannot be found".

Any idea what might be causing this?

I don't believe the two events are related. In Outlook when you answered the question about "if you travel with this computer" all that did was setup an offline folder for the client and that is no would affect how attachments are sent out. You can easily undo that by disabling offline folders but I would imagine that would in no way affect the error in OWA.

Have you tried switching the editor in Outlook to see if that makes a difference with the attachments in OWA? If it doesn't I would think the error would be somewhere on the Exchnage side. joegz
