Outlook Tasks and Calendar Format

I am trying to send Outlook calendar and Tasks from OUtlook 2000 on a Exchange server over the internet to Outlook 2002 on a stand alone. The format is not giving me the option for Accept, Decline etc... I am sending them in Rich Text format but they are coming through as text. I.E.

When: 11 September 2001 08:00-13:00 (GMT) Greenwich Mean Time : Dublin, Edinburgh, Lisbon, London.
Where:

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

Any Ideas would be exteemly helpful.
