Outlook Settings for Attachments

When a change is made to an open attachment, if the user selects 'Save', the change is saved DIRECTLY to the original attachment without any prompt or warning. Does anyone know how this is controlled and can I change settings to receive the warning?

That's weird every time I open an attachment from outlook it opens it in the temporary internet files directory and wont let me save it back to that location.. I am using pop mail and not exchange.. not sure which format you are using.. if it is an exchange server that might be the difference..
